Registration is now open for the 2026 Asiavision Coordinators’ meeting

6 Oct 2025

Registration is now open for the 2026 Asiavision Coordinators’ meeting

The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union’s (ABU) will host the 2026 Asiavision Coordinators’ meeting at Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre on 21-22 January.

The theme for the meeting is “Bridging the Asia-Pacific: One Story, Many Voices.”

This year’s meeting will bring news leaders from across Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and shape the future of collaborative journalism.

The meeting will feature specialised training sessions on news exchange best practices and fact-checking skills, alongside a comprehensive review of Asiavision’s performance over the past year.

Delegates will also work together to outline strategic goals for the year ahead, with opportunities to network and share insights with fellow broadcasters.

ABU will sponsor flights and accommodation for one representative from each Asiavision member organisation. The meeting is also open to all ABU members.

On 22 January (Day 2), the event will open its doors to reporters, journalists, and journalism and media students, offering a chance to observe discussions on international news exchange and global networking.

Seats for this session are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
