JSC Khabar Agency (Kazakhstan) joins Asiavision

JSC Khabar Agency-Kazakhstan officially joins Asiavision (AVN) this month, bringing the total number of AVN members to 32.

While the agency has been a member of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) since 2017, this new partnership with AVN marks a significant expansion of its news-sharing capabilities.

This year, JSC Khabar Agency celebrated its 30th anniversary, marking its growth from a small television studio into a major media holding and a recognised contributor to the global media landscape. Its network includes the “Khabar” and “24KZ” television channels, supported by an extensive team of foreign correspondents stationed across 15 countries.

Through this partnership, JSC Khabar Agency and other AVN members will exchange daily news content, providing broader coverage of Kazakhstan and the surrounding region to a global audience.
