Blending compelling storytelling, high-quality visuals, and a deep sense of humanity, TRT has charmed the Asia-Pacific region. It is with great excitement that we announce TRT’s report, “Antarctica’s Youngest Explorer,” as the winner of the Asiavision Monthly Award for May.

Securing the highest number of votes, the piece was highly praised by ABU News members for its creative journalistic values. The report follows the story of a seven-year-old boy who successfully completed a challenging exploration of Antarctica. By focusing on a simple, human-interest plot, TRT developed a powerful, character-driven narrative that highlighted the young explorer’s determination, environmental awareness, and charm, all reinforced by stunning and creative visualization techniques.
