2026 Asiavision Coordinators’ meeting set for Kuala Lumpur

Preparations are in its final stages for the 2026 Asiavision Coordinators’ Meeting, scheduled to take place on January 21–22 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

Held under the theme “Bridging the Asia-Pacific: One Story, Many Voices,” the meeting will bring together coordinators from across the region to strengthen collaboration and enhance newsroom cooperation.

The two-day programme will feature strategic discussions and learning from global best practices, building AI strategies in the newsroom, case studies on disaster coverage, and an in-depth review of Asiavision’s performance over the past year.

The programme aims to improve content quality, regional storytelling, and information sharing among member organisations. Industry players and experts from higher learning institutions will share their experiences throughout the two-day event.

The meeting will look to further reinforce Asiavision’s commitment to credible journalism and a unified regional news voice across the Asia-Pacific.
