2025 Future of News survey launched

ABU members are invited to take part in the 2025 Future of News survey.

The online survey was launched at the Asiavision Coordinators’ meeting in Hanoi and looks at newsroom challenges, priorities and responsibilities, audience behaviour and generative AI usage.

It also examine journalists’ roles and experiences, recruitment and retention challenges, and ways to future-proof newsrooms.

The responses will be analysed by the Centre for Information Integrity and the Internet (IN-cube) at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

The results of the survey will be presented in the Innovations in News report, to be launched at the Global News Forum in Turkiye on 21-23 May 2025.

The 2024 Future of News Survey results were presented in the inaugural Future of News report.
