MEMBERs & INTITUTIONAL RELATIONS DIVISION

Connecting Members. Strengthening Engagement. Building Community.

The Member Relations Department serves as the primary link between the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) and its members. The Department plays a central role in strengthening member engagement, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that members are able to fully benefit from the Union’s wide range of services, initiatives, events, and industry platforms.

Working closely with broadcasters, media organisations, and other member organisations the Department supports effective communication, regional cooperation, and active participation across the ABU community. It helps members stay connected to new opportunities, key developments, international projects, and evolving trends within the broadcasting and media industry.

The Department also contributes to building stronger relationships among members by encouraging knowledge-sharing, partnership, and collective action on issues of common interest.

At its core, the Member Relations Department is dedicated to nurturing a more connected, engaged, and united ABU community through collaboration, support, and shared growth.

“Unity in Diversity is not just a principle. It is how the ABU operates as one regional community.”
